Jamaat Ahmadiyya al Mouslemeen FRIDAY SERMON of Hazrat Amirul Momeneen Zafrullah Domun 03 December 2010 At
Bait-ul-Rahma Mosque
After reciting the Tauz, the Tashahhud and
the first chapter of the Holy Quran Imam Zafrullah Domun said: Last
week I spoke about how untrue it is to say that an amir is to be obeyed in all
circumstances. I made it clear from several hadiths quoted from the book “Sahih
Muslim” that the Holy prophet saw qualified the obedience due to the
one in authority whether he is a caliph or an amir. Hence we have understood
that all instructions received from an amir that go against basic commands of
Allah should not be obeyed. All such instructions, if obeyed will lead one to
hell instead of Paradise. So if someone obeys an unislamic instruction of his
amir or caliph he is disobeying Allah and he or she will have to account for
it. These
days the leadership in Ahmadiyya Muslim Association is imposing upon innocent
Ahmadis to follow the instructions of their caliph with regard to social
boycott of their brothers and sisters. This is an instruction that is against
the teachings of Islam. All those who abet their amir in its implementation are
only inviting ruin upon themselves. The Holy Prophet saw has made it
crystal clear that there is no obedience in disobedience to Allah; obedience is
due in only that which is ma’roof (good and reasonable). We all know
quite well that neither the Holy Quran nor Hazrat Mohammadsaw nor
Hazrat Masih Maood as ever prescribed social boycott as a means of
imposing conformity. The enemies of Islam or good Muslims always use it against
the true believers. Hence today one can easily infer who Ahmadis of today are.
They identify themselves more with the enemies of Allah rather than the friends
of Allah. This is the result of the misguided leadership that tries to impose
their view of Islam on the rest of the people. helps
the people to understand what is wrong with current practices and be bold
enough to bring in the necessary changes that are needed. If the people can do
it, so much the better. But if they cannot because they have been mentally
enslaved for too long period then Allah out of his mercy sends them a
liberator. That liberator gets a mandate from Allah to guide the people. Such
guides are not at all interested in enslaving others to become their adherents.
They are primarily interested in helping the people to understand that they are
free human beings and that Allah is the one that they should obey and not those
who pretend that they are from Allah. Such guides are sent to liberate the people
from all sorts of shackles (physical or mental) and help them to worship their
Lord in the true sense of the word. In the Holy Quran Allah says repeatedly “Innal
hoda hodallah” which means “Truly it is Allah’s guidance that is the True
guidance”. When Allah sends someone for the guidance of others he equips that
person to guide and He stands by him wherever he is. Although that person may
feel in his heart of heart that he has a real daunting task in front of him,
yet step by step Allah guides him and gives him the determination to push ahead
despite all odds. In fact it is in reference to such guides that the Holy
Prophet’s words “he who does not recognize the imam of his time dies in
ignorance”were pointing. Therefore it is in the interest of each Ahmadi that he
tries to know whether his caliph is that person or someone else. An Ahmadi
cannot close his ears and eyes and wait for revelation from Allah to tell him
who is the right imam although I cannot deny that this might happen to some
persons that Allah wants to guide. But in the majority of cases people have to
make a quest and read, talk and discuss to deepen their own understanding. To
live like the Jamaat wants you to live by blindly accepting unislamic orders is
to accept to lead the life of slave. Who would like to lead such a life but the
one who wants to make a fool of himself or herself. Those
who have had the opportunity to read the hadiths that speak about the Imam Mahdi
would be surprised to learn how according to these hadiths the arrival of the
Imam Mahdi will usher in a period of peace in the world. For example we read that the Holy Prophet has
said: "Even if the entire duration of the world's existence has
already been exhausted and only one day is left (before the day of judgment),
Allah will expand that day to such a length of time, as to accommodate the
kingdom of a person from my Ahlul-Bayt who will be called by my name. He will
fill out the earth with peace and justice as it will have been full of
injustice and tyranny (by then)."(Tirmizi,
Abu Daud). "We (I and my family) are members of a household that Allah
(SWT) has chosen for them the life of the Hereafter over the life of this
world; and the members of my household (Ahlul-Bayt) shall suffer a great
affliction and they shall be forcefully expelled from their homes after my
death; then there will come people from the East carrying black flags, and they
will ask for some good to be given to them, but they shall be refused service;
as such, they will wage war and emerge victorious, and will be offered that
which they desired in the first place, but they will refuse to accept it till
they pass it to a man from my family (Ahlul-Bayt) appears to fill the Earth with
justice as it has been filled with corruption. So whoever reaches that (time)
ought to come to them even if crawling on the ice/snow since among them is the
Vicegerent of Allah (Khalifatullah) al-Mahdi."(Ibn Majah) Again we will not go into details to see if in history these
events have happened as predicted or not. Now we all know that Hazrat Mirza
Ghulam Ahmad as has said that Allah has made him the Mahdi. We Ahmadis believe in this. But the
majority of Muslims do not believe so. Being the Jamaat of the Mahdi it is
therefore incumbent upon us at least to try to give to that Jamaat a coloring
that was given to it by the Holy Prophet. At least in this Jamaat we should
have seen peace and justice prevail. The caliphs maintain that they are capable
to lead the Jamaat. But we ask where is the peace and where is the Justice? In fact when we see Jamaat Ahmadiyya very closely we see a group
of people who are so ignorant of basic Islamic teachings that mistakes and
mistakes are being committed one after the other. People are forced to go
against basic Islamic teachings under threat and blackmail. Out of love some
people invite their friends to the marriage of their sons or daughters. But the
Amir brandishes the caliph’s unislamic instructions and immediately invitations
are withdrawn. Can you imagine that these ignorant leaders are doing all these
unislamic practices in the name of Islam and in the Jamaat of the Mahdi,
promised by the Holy Prophet Mohammadsaw. What is worse is that the caliphs are uttering many preposterous
statements that contradict what Hazrat Masih Al Mahdi has said. For example
Hazrat Masih Maood as has told us that Allah will continue to send
His chosen ones for the guidance of mankind till the end of times. But the
third caliph Mirza Nasir Ahmad said that there will be no more mojaddids
who will come after Hazrat Masih Maood as. The fourth caliph went
even further and said that women are mojaddid in Jamaat Ahmadiyya. As
far as the fifth caliph is concerned you all know what he said in his end of
century message about Allah speaking to Hazrat Masih about khilafat. Up till
today neither he nor his people have been able to quote from Hazrat Masih
Maood’s book what he attributed to him! This is the situation of the leadership
of the Jamaat for noble teachings that was created by Hazrat Masih Maood as.
The truth is that misguided leaders at all levels are misguiding the Ahmadis
everywhere as far as the fundamental teachings of Ahmadiyyat are concerned. I think that by now it should be quite clear in the minds of
thinking Ahmadis that we all have been taken for a ride. The Jamaat’s leadership has
deviated from the teachings of Hazrat Masih Maood as and they are
leading Ahmadis astray. But Allah has already made provision for correcting
these fundamental errors. Due to the net today we are aware of some major
mistakes that have been committed in the past. For example we understand that
one of the sons of the second caliph, namely Mian Rafi Ahmad (1927-2004)
claimed that he was a recipient of revelation but he was immediately sidelined
and persecuted starting from around 1966 till his death in 2004. He wrote and
spoke against the idea that was spread at that time by the third caliph and his
Anjuman that there would no longer be mojjadid because khilafat
Ahmadiyya was well established. Some of his writings have been published on the
net but we need to know more in order to make an opinion about the whole issue.
Anyhow what we learn from his case is that it is quite common in Jamaat
Ahmadiyya to ostracize those who say that they are receiving revelations from
Allah and that they may have a mission from Allah. How unfortunate! Out of
ignorance Ahmadis treat their divinely appointed benefactors as their enemies
despite the fact that they have been brought up to believe otherwise. If this
has happened in Jamaat Ahmadiyya it is because the leaders have not cared about
the teachings of the Founder Hazrat Masih Maood as and they have
invented their own teachings and they want to impose it over the people. In the Holy Quran there is a verse which runs as follows: “Wal
takoum minkoum oummatoun yad’ouna elal khayre wa ya’morouna bil ma’roofé wa
yanhawna anil mounkar wa oulaaeka homoul mouflehoune.” We translate this as
“And let there
be among you a body of men who should invite to goodness, and enjoin what is
good and reasonable and forbid evil. And
it is they who shall prosper.”(3:105). Many times Allah has revealed this verse to me. But sometimes instead
of wa oulaaeka homoul mouflehoune, I received “wa yosaare’ouna fil khayraat” and they
vie with one another in doing good deeds. You will notice that in this verse
Allah speaks about enjoining what is ma’roof (good and reasonable). Therefore within the community of Muslims
there should always be people who should be fulfilling the above injunctions of
Allah. But unfortunately these days within the majority Jamaat this is not
being done. On the contrary the mental enslavement of the people is such that
no one dares to speak out against the injustice that is being practiced on a
large scale within the Jamaat to try to harm others. Some three to four years back Allah once
revealed to me with reference to Jamaat Ahmadiyya in Mauritius “Tahsabohoum
Jami’an wa qoloubohaoum shatta”. It means “you think them to be united but
their hearts are divided”. These we know quite well how is going on inside.
There is plenty of divisions and disagreement. If there is one thing on which
there is unity, it is not on Allah but on the enmity that they have for members
of Jamaat Ahmadiyya Al Mouslemeen. Consequently last Saturday night Allah
revealed to me “Sa yahzomoul jam’o wa yowallounad dobour” which means “ “The hosts shall soon be routed and will turn their backs in flight.” I understand this to mean those who came together to fight us will
soon be routed and they will take to their heels. I say it again that I am not
here to inflict any kind of pain on anyone. But if you think that you can fight
me then get prepared do fight the one who has sent me. Your record for the past
year alone is very revealing how you are succeeding! I tell all those Ahmadis
who think that they know Ahmadiyyat and Islam to cross not swords but only pen
with me and witness their defeat. I will end with these verses from the poem of Hazrat Masih Maood as : Agar tera bhi kouch din hai badl de jo mein kehta houn Ke moujhe ko izzat auwr toum pé malamat
anewali hai Translation : If you also you have been given something, then change what I am
saying: I will be honoured and you will suffer defeat. May Allah help our friends to understand before it is too late.
