Jamaat Ahmadiyya al Mouslemeen Friday Sermon of Hazrat Amirul Momeneen Zafrullah Domun |
|
Friday Sermon 7th March 2008 After reading the Tashahhud, the Ta’uz and the first chapter of the Holy Quran Hazrat Amirul Mo’menine Zafrullah Domun said: By the Grace of Allah, we the members of Jamaat Ahmadiyya Al Mouslemeen strive our best to follow the teachings of Islam as they have been taught to us by Hazrat Mohammad (s.a.w) and his Messiah, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (a.s) It is because we are convinced that we are on the right path that we have accepted to be separated from the majority of Ahmadis. In my recent Friday sermons I have been trying to explain our point of view to the world and we invited the mainstream Ahmadiyya Jamaat to show us the right path, if they think we have taken a wrong course. Unfortunately, even today I have to repeat myself to say that the learned ones of the mainstream Jamaat have not been able up till now to point out any flaw in our arguments. I think they will never dare to say or write something because they know that by the Grace of Allah what we are saying is true and irrefutable. These past days and weeks I have received several revelations from Allah which frighten me about the attitude of the Ahmadis. Therefore I have decided to share with you some of these revelations so that those who are still capable of learning from the past may take heed. Moreover, the true believers may rejoice through what Allah has provided for them through this humble one. Allah said to me “Khoda ké paak logon ko khoda sé nusrat aati hai”. As you may recall this is a verse from a poem of Hazrat Masih Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (a.s). It means “The pure servants of Allah receive help from Allah” These words were revealed to me at a time of distress. And as the Messiah has said, on such occasions when the believer receives revelation from Allah, his distresses, problems, anxiety disappear and Allah rushes to his help to relieve him of what may be bothering him. The same thing happened to me by Allah’s Grace. The distress vanished after I received the revelation. I call Allah as my witness that this is not an isolated instance. This is the way Allah has been dealing with me very often and since a very long time indeed. In the same way He said to me “Neik ko kuch gham nahin go bara gardaab hai”. This means “those who are good at heart need not worry even if there is a great whirlpool”. The word “gardaab” means a whirlpool or an abyss. It has been used here in the figurative sense meaning “great odds”. In other words it means that whatever the circumstances, what ever be the might, power and resources of those who are against you, if you are a righteous person, you need not worry at all. In a similar vein the other day Allah revealed the following words to me: “Hamaré sarisht mein nakaami ka zamir nahin hai ” which means “in our being there is no idea of defeat”. All these revelations and many others which unfortunately time does not allow me to tell you, Allah has been encouraging all of us, because He knows how weak we are and with whom we have to fight. He knows them well and He knows that they are very heedless, hardhearted and that they follow their own desires instead of the Book of Allah, the teachings of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w) and that of His Messiah, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (a.s). So my advice to all our members is that we should remain firm. I know that our opponents are trying their best to dislodge some of our friends from us. I hope and pray that they will never succeed in their plans. We may be few but Allah has promised us victory over them because they are doing what He did not tell them to do. And remember this verse of the Holy Quran “Kam min féatin qalilatin ghalabat féatan kasiratan bé iz nilllahé ; wallaho ma’as swabereen” Ch. 2: V. 250. The translation is as follows: “How many a small party has triumphed over a large party by Allah’s command! And Allah is with the steadfast”. Such a verse, where on the one hand it increases our hope and determination, on the other hand it invites us to show patience. This is so because without showing patience nothing will be achieved. If we are true to our engagement with Allah, help will come from Him. If not, we will never succeed, although we may try as much as we wish. Therefore there is a great need for all of you, young and old, men and women not to forget your daily spiritual duties. Do your prayers on time as much as you can. Do not abandon your reading of the Holy Quran just because you are preparing for your examinations. Remember your Allah much in your prayers and do not forget Him when you are not praying. Try to understand His commandments and do your best to practice them. Cultivate good moral qualities and do not let Satan overcome you. Keep asking for forgiveness by reciting “Astaghfiroullah” at least hundred times per day and send blessings on our Holy Prophet Mohammad (s.a.w) daily as much as you can. If you are constant with these practices Allah will help you in all matters be they worldly or spiritual. I am here to help you. So do not hesitate if you need any help in any matter. I will do my best to help you with what Allah has given me incha Allah. Another revelation which I received recently and which
I received one or two times in the past is the verse of the Holy Quran
which is known as “Ayat istikhlaaf”.
That is to say The translation is as follows: For your information I would like to tell you that both Hazrat Molvi Nur uddin (r.a) and Hazrat Mirza Bashir uddin Mahmood Ahmad (.ra) have used this verse to justify that they were caliphs by Allah’s Grace. Just imagine how more justified should that person be to whom Allah reveals that He has made him an Imam for the people. Several times before Allah has revealed to me: “Inni Jaaéloka linnaasé imama” which means “I shall make you a leader of men”. Here I would like to tell you about something interesting that has happened. I started preparing this sermon on Wednesday last and finished yesterday in the morning. However, in the morning today Allah said to me “Ja’alnaaka linnaasi imama” which means “We have made you an Imam to the people”. If previously it was something promised Allah wanted me to know and to tell others that I am already an Imam. That is His Grace. He gives it to whomsoever He pleases. By Allah’s Grace I have read almost all the published revelations of Hazrat Mirza Bashir uddin Mahmood Ahmad (r.a), and that of Hazrat Molvi Nurruddin (r.a) and that of the other caliphs within Jamaat Ahmadiyya. I have not seen this verse as a revelation to any of them except to Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (a.s). It could have been revealed but I have not seen that this is published anywhere that anyone of them received it. By His sheer Grace Allah has revealed it to me. If someone is somewhat conversant with matters spiritual, he would easily know why Allah reveals the verse to one of His Servant that He has chosen for a purpose. The fact is that khilafat as per the definition of Hazrat Masih Maood (a.s) is a gift that Allah directly confers on those “who believe and do good deeds”. And it is only Allah who knows who have such qualities in them! Allow me to remind you of an important quotation of
Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (a.s) about the gift of revelation. He says: [Brahin-e-Ahmadiyya, Part V, Ruhani Khaza’in, vol. 21, p. 137] From this verse we understand that it is Allah Himself who has made this Promise to believers who believe and do good deeds. Here I would like to ask the Ahmadis if it is not their belief that Allah still sends people whom He personally appoints for the guidance of mankind. ? Whatever they do they are bound to answer this question in the affirmative. If they give a negative reply the whole edifice of Ahmadiyyat will crumble. Unfortunately instead of following the teachings of Hazrat Ahmad (a.s), they are following the example of people of yore- that is they are rejecting someone who says he has been sent to them to show them again the right from which they have deviated. Furthermore we understand that Allah will solidify their religion for them. It only means that since they will become successors, by Allah’s Will they will establish His religion and put it on a firm footing. Commenting on this verse at one place Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (a.s) said: “….. They will worship Me alone and they will not associate anyone with Me . This is a piece of good news on the surface. But as it is a divine custom with the verses of the Holy Quran, there is also a hidden meaning in this. It means that in a hidden way there is mention here of divine successorship. It means that whenever there is fear that Love of Allah will disappear from people’s heart and corrupted religion spreads everywhere and people get inclined towards the world and there is fear that religion may be lost , at such times Allah will send Divine Caliphs on whose hands spiritually speaking the help and victory of religion may become manifest . Then truth will be honoured and falsehood will be abased and then religion will return to its pristine purity and the faithful will be in peace from the fear that due to the spread of misguidance religion might be lost.”[Buraheen Ahmadiyya part 3- Rohani Khazain part one pages 259-260]. Here also, as in many other places that we have already mentioned in our sermons, Hazrat Masih Maood (a.s) speaks about the appointment of spiritual caliphs not those that succeed a deceased one within an established system. Now let us speak about those revelations that create
fear in my heart for the Ahmadis. They are as follows: There are many diseases that are in our body but they do not show any symptoms. But a few medical tests can easily detect them. When we were young whenever we heard the name of cancer it spelled death. But today it is a well known fact that many cancers can be treated if they are detected on time. But who can detect that but those who are well trained doctors in those fields. The fact is that such diseases are fatal unless they are detected on time. But the problem or it is normal for humans to see doctors when they are sick. Spiritual diseases are as bad as theses cancers. They are fatal to your souls unless they are treated by a spiritual doctor. That is why also the people are not interested with these spiritual doctors. They live under the delusion of spiritual good health like the majority of Jamaat Ahmadiyya is doing at the moment. Their heart has already changed and they know it not. On something very fundamental they are sticking to false notions. So during the past week I received the following revelation twice: “Law araadallaho be qawmin soo’an laa maradda lahou”. It means “when Allah desires to punish a people there is no repelling it”. My previous quote above and this one are from verse 12 of chapter 13 from the Holy Quran. The message is very clear, check them out from the Holy Book and ponder over them. Similarly I have received this revelation several times: “Fa kaifa kaana azabi wa nozour”. This is verse 31 of chapter 54. Read that chapter and try to understand the message. It means “How terrible was My Punishment and how terrible was My warning”. I am telling again that you are being warned; so take heed on time. Do not let your numbers, leader, wealth and possessions delude you into thinking that you will escape Allah’s Punishment if you do not repent on time. None of you, except maybe some enlightened souls, could have dreamed that Allah would have raised one member of the Jamaat to warn you that you are wrong on some of your beliefs. I had nothing to do with it. It is the Will of Allah. Nor can you now do anything to prevent Allah’s decree from taking place except through sincere repentance for your misdeeds. Here of course I am addressing all Ahmadis from head to toe. There was a time when members of this Jamaat taught the world. Unfortunately today, you have forgotten your own teachings like the previous people did before you. It is my prayer and hope that Allah has mercy upon you. Twice this week and several times before Allah has revealed the following to me: “Innallazina yobayeounaka innama yobayeounallah , yadoullaha fawqa aydihim.Wa man nakasa fa innama yankoso ala nafsehi. Wa man awfa bema ahada alaihoullaha fa sa yo’tihé ajran azima” Its translation is as follows: I will comment on this later on. Furthermore in the middle of the night yesterday Allah said to me “Yansorakallaho man yansoraka”. It means “Allah will help that person who will help you.” I leave you to reflect about this revelation. More
incha Allah next week. Ameen. |
