For almost a year now I have been telling Ahmadis in Mauritius and around the world that Allah has raised me as an Imam for them. He who wants salvation should come to me and incha Allah as per Allah's Promise they will be saved. For the others there is no guarantee at all now because they have rejected what Allah has sent...

...Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) said that Allah will continue to directly appoint Guides, Caliphs or Walis for the guidance of the people until the day of resurrection within this Jamaat. Now when someone comes forth with a commission from Allah, those who have a vested interest in the status quo want the people to believe that Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) did not say any such thing. They are hiding the truth and they know it...

After reciting, Tashahhud, Ta'ouz chapter Al Fatiha of the Holy Quran, Hazrat Amirul Mo'menine Zafrullah Domun recited verses 27 to 32 of chapter Al Furqan (25) of the Holy Quran and gave its translation as follows:

“The true Kingdom on that day shall belong to the Gracious, God; and it shall be a hard day for the disbelievers.

On that day the wrongdoer will bite his hands and will say, 'O, would that I had taken a way along with the Messenger!

'O, woe is me! Would that I had never taken such a one for a friend!

And Satan always deserts man in the hour of need.

And the Messenger will say, ' O my Lord, my people indeed treated this Qur'an as a thing to be discarded. '

Thus did We make for every Prophet an enemy from among the sinners; And sufficient is thy Lord as a Guide and a Helper.”( 25-27-32)

For almost a year now I have been telling Ahmadis in Mauritius and around the world that Allah has raised me as an Imam for them. He who wants salvation should come to me and incha Allah as per Allah's Promise they will be saved. For the others there is no guarantee at all now because they have rejected what Allah has sent. They have preferred to rely on someone who just declares that he is appointed by Allah although he cannot present any proof to back his claims. Any how Allah knows better. Ahmadis have been raised to lull themselves into the delusion that “he who is under khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya is saved” although they cannot present even one verse of the Holy Quran to back such a claim. What is more perfidious on their part is that their claim is in total contradiction with the teachings of the founder of the Ahmadiyyat Jamaat, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) . The verses that I have read above depict their situation in a graphic way. They have abandoned the “messenger” and they took another one for a ‘friend' and the “messenger” is bound to say 'O my Lord, my people indeed treated this Quran as a thing to be discarded.' Instead of helping the “messenger” they have preferred to be the party of his opponents.

In a recent revelation Allah said to me in Urdu: Aasmaan seh pathar barsaaeingeh ham. The translation is “We will rain down stones from heaven”. Now whether it is a literal or a figurative speech, it is within the purview of Allah's knowledge. I do not know in what shape these words will be fulfilled. What I know is that these are revelations from Allah that He has revealed to one of His humble servants. When I see what is going on in the world these days I understand that some of our prayers are being fulfilled and so we are buoyed up with hope that incha Allah, the other promises that Allah has made with us will be fulfilled when the time comes because Allah says in the Holy Quran “le koulli nabaa'im mustaqarrin ” which means “for every prophecy there is a time for its fulfillment.”

In my previous sermon I told you about some of the revelations which spoke about the indifference to Allah's warnings that the people are showing. Allah revealed to me “Fa hal mim muddakir” which means “but is there anyone to take heed” and “fa kayfa kaana azaabi wa nozour” which means “How was My Punishment and how was My Warning”. I told you that these verses were repeated in chapter al Qamar (54) of the Holy Quran. I do not know how many amongst you has opened their Holy Quran to ponder over these verses. Anyhow I have decided to read them to you so that you may know what Allah has said and so that you may take heed.

This chapter contains only fifty six verses together with Bismillah. It was revealed in the beginning of the apostleship of the Holy Prophet (saw). It speaks about how past people who rejected the prophets were severely punished. It speaks particularly about the case of the people of Noah, the tribes of Ad, of Thamud and of the people of Lot. The lessons that can be learnt from these people are as relevant today as it was in those periods. Allah says:

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.

The Hour has drawn nigh, and the moon

is rent asunder.

The word “ Saa'a” which is translated as “Hour” is a word that we meet quite often in the Holy Quran and it has quite vast meanings. Among other things it means (1) the death of a great or famous person; (2) a national calamity; (3) the Day of Judgment. According to some commentators this word has been used in the Holy Quran in the last two meanings. On 25th April 2008, Allah revealed to me “Wa maa yudrika la'allas saa'ati qareeb”. The Arabic portion of the revelation means: “What will make you know that the Hour is nigh?” Similarly on 20th May 2008 Allah said to me “Innas saa'até la aateyatoune laa ghaiba fiha” which may be translated as “The Hour will definitely come; there is no doubt about it”. Now you will note that in this verse also Allah is saying the same thing in other words. The portion of the verse “the moon is rent asunder” may refer to many things. It is on record in the books of Hadith that “the splitting of the moon” was one of the signs that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w) showed to the disbelievers of Mecca . There are also some other interpretations which we will leave for the moment.

In the next verse Allah says: “And if they see a Sign, they turn away and say, 'An oft-repeated sorcery.” This verse has relevance even today. Ahmadis have been shown many signs which they should have understood because of their upbringing but most of them have rejected these signs and they follow their own fancies. And the greatest of these signs is the reception of revelation according to Hazrat Masih Maood (as). The next verse says: “They have rejected the truth and follow their own desires. But for everything there is an appointed time.” It is their “desires” that dictate to them what they should believe and not the Holy Quran. In chapter AlFurqan (25) verses 44 and 45 Allah says: “Have you seen him who takes his evil desire for his god? Do you think that most of them hear or understand? They are like cattle – nay they are worse in their behavior.” When Allah says “But for everything there is an appointed time.” it only means that He has fixed a time for events to enfold. Even the Prophet does not know about that “time”. He has to wait. But what Allah has said will definitely come to pass if the people do not take heed. Similarly several times Allah has said to me "Sa orikoum aayaati falaa tasta'jeloune” which may be translated as “I will show you My signs; be not of those who are in haste”.

In the next verses Allah says:

And there has already come to them accounts of events containing warnings

Consummate wisdom; but the warnings profit them not.

Therefore, turn thou away from them and await the day when the Summoner will summon them to a disagreeable thing,

While their eyes will be cast down and they will come forth from their graves hastening towards the Summoner. The disbelievers will say, 'This is a hard day.'”

Then Allah starts speaking about Hazrat Noah. He says:

The people of Noah rejected the truth before them; they called Our servant a liar and said, 'He is a madman, afflicted by our idols.'

So he prayed to his Lord: 'I am overcome, so come thou to my help!' Thereupon We opened the gates of heaven with water which fell in torrents;

And We caused the earth to burst forth with springs, so the two waters met for a purpose that was decreed.

And We carried him upon that which was made of planks and nails. It floated on under Our eyes; a reward for him who had been denied.

And We left it as a Sign for the succeeding generations. But is there anyone who would take heed?

Hazrat Noah came with the message of Truth. Most of his people rejected his message. They said that he was a liar, a madman who has been afflicted with their idols. And what has the Ahmadis been saying? They have not dared saying that I am a liar because most of them know that I am not. They know much better than I, who is the real liar among Ahmadis. Some have said that there are some problems with my mind and that I am under the influence of Satan. But all those who come from Allah get the same treatment at the hands of their ignorant contemporaries. Here Allah is reminding us about what happened in the time of Hazrat Noah. But who takes heed? At another place in the Holy Quran Allah says “Only those of His Servants who are endowed with knowledge fear Allah ” (35:29)

In the next verses Allah says:

How terrible , then, was my punishment and how true my warning!

And indeed, we have made the Quran easy to remember. Is there anyone who would take heed?

The first verse and part of the second verse have been repeated several times in this chapter. According to my count they have been repeated entirely or partly at least six times. And as I have already told you it is these verses or part thereof that Allah recently revealed to me.

Just imagine this. Allah gave the Muslims the best teachings in the form of the Holy Quran. Through practicing its teachings the Muslims created a civilization to which even today the western civilization is indebted. Unfortunately with the passage of time the Muslims forgot their own teachings and they lost their prestige and power. When their fortune was at its lowest ebb Allah raised Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) as the Promised Messiah and Mahdi. But the majority of the Muslims rejected him and they continued to wait for their Promised Messiah and Mahdi to come. They are like the Jews who are still waiting for theirs to come even 2000 years after he came and went. Now those Ahmadis who accepted Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) were privileged and they profited by his teachings. But the knower of Allah par excellence that he was, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) said that Allah will continue to directly appoint Guides, Caliphs or Walis for the guidance of the people until the day of resurrection within this Jamaat. Now when someone comes forth with a commission from Allah, those who have a vested interest in the status quo want the people to believe that Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) did not say any such thing. They are hiding the truth and they know it. And what does Allah tell us about such people in the Holy Quran? He says:

...Do you know better or Allah? And who is more unjust than he who hides the testimony that he has from Allah? And Allah is not unaware of what you do? (2:141)

The fact that Allah repeatedly says in this chapter: “And indeed, we have made the Quran easy to remember. But is there anyone who would take heed? ” is very relevant and significant. I should even go so far as to say that this verse contains a prophecy that a time will come when people will read the Holy Quran but yet they will not be able to understand its true meaning. This is so because if they could understand its meanings and act accordingly Allah would not have said “is there anyone to take heed?” Since Allah has said that “ Inna Nahnon nazzalnal Quran wa inna lahou la hafezoune ”, that is “Verily we have sent down this exhortation and most surely we are its guardian” (15:10) . Allah, as is His Way always preserve the book by sending someone who teaches the Muslims where they are going off track and he brings them back to the pristine teachings.

Then Allah starts talking about the people of Ad. They lived in Yemen and Hadramut in the south of Arabia . They were very skilled in the construction of houses on mountains. But they rejected Allah's warning and their end was very bad. Allah says:

The tribe of Ad rejected the truth. How terrible , then, was My punishment and how true My warning!

We sent against them a furious wind on a day of unending ill-luck,

Tearing people away as though they were the hollow trunks of uprooted palm-trees.

How terrible , then, was My punishment and how true My warning! And indeed, We have made the Qur'an easy to remember. But is there anyone who would take heed?

Then Allah speaks about Thamud. They lived in the North West of Arabia. Allah says about them:

The tribe of Thamud also rejected the Warners.

And they said, 'What! shall we follow a mortal, one out of ourselves? Then, indeed, we would be in manifest error, and suffering from madness. 'Has the Reminder been revealed to him alone of all of us? Nay, he is an impudent liar.'

Tomorrow will they know who the impudent liar is.

We will send the she-camel as a trial for them. So watch them, O Salih, and have patience.

'And tell them that the water is shared between her and them, every drinking time shall be attended.'

But they called their comrade and he seized a sword and hamstrung her.

How terrible, then, was My punishment and how true My warning! We sent against them a single blast, and they became like the dry stubble, whittled down by a maker of hedges.

And, indeed, We have made the Quran easy to remember. But is there anyone who will take heed?

Next week incha Allah we will speak about Lot. But before leaving I wish to inform you that yesterday Allah revealed to me Iqtaraba linnaase hisaabahoum way houm fi ghflatin mo'rezoun which means “the hour of reckoning is coming near for men but they turn away in negligence”. You may understand this better if you observe what is happening to the world economy. Allah knows best what is happening and what will happen in the coming days and weeks. May Allah protect all of us from the evil that has been decreed.
